DTS 360 ... engaging, equipping and releasing

In January 2011 I will be back working with DTS. The team I am part of is leading DTS360 here in Kona, Hawaii. Discipleship Training School is at the core of YWAM. It is a time for lives to be changed and people sent out into the nations. Please pray for us as we prepare. But why dont you also pray about coming to join us as staff or students on the school??

Classroom Learning phase

To know God...

Join us on the beautiful campus in Kona for 12 weeks, where we live and learn together in an environment where we can experience God and hear directly from Him. God is doing exciting things amongst our international community; raising up radicals who seek to glorify Him in our work, studies, prayers and social times.

Dynamic speakers will come and share their lives teaching and challenging us on topics such as

• Hearing the voice of God
• Biblical Worldview
• Nature and Character of God
• Missions and Evangelism
• The person of the Holy Spirit
• Intercession and spiritual warfare
• Freedom in Christ and Identity
• Relationships

These weeks are all about Knowing God and His purposes for you and for the Nations of the World.  During our class times of worship, prayer, teaching, ministry and community times we will engage with Him, come away transformed and impact the world around us.

To make him known…

Outreach is where the adventure really hits the road. We head out across the globe to see transformation of lives, communities and nations. You will be commissioned out in teams to engage with life in a radical way and apply what God has taught you in Kona.

Connecting with local churches and ministries we work to see a lasting impact in people’s lives as we serve and engage. You may be building a house in Mexico, feeding the hungry in Asia or administering primary health care in the Pacific.

Each outreach is unique, and YOU bring your skills and passions to help create it. Destinations are still to be finalized as we continue to pray.

DTS 360 will be lead by a team of experienced YWAMers who come from many nations, with years of experience serving God around the world in spheres as broad as healthcare, community development, sports coaching, movie making and corporate business. We are all passionate about God, his people and the nations. We want to see you discover who you are, why you are alive and how to bring life and purpose to all peoples of the earth.

The school leaders - Faith & Andrew Dutton

The Duttons are a dynamic and committed family. For over 15 years Andrew and Faith have worked throughout the nations teaching, preaching and mobilizing people to a lifestyle of impacting the world around them.  They have led numerous Discipleship and Leadership Training programs and live a life focused on seeing young people equipped to fulfill their destinies and callings in God.   Andrew is Australian and Faith is a New Zealander – a wild combination of fun and passion.  They met, married and worked together with YWAM Australia until they moved to Kona in 2008 where Andrew serves as Training Director.  They have 3 lively children, Emily, Michael and Elijah.  To get to know them more go to www.faithandandrew.com

Costs & Dates

This school will run for 22 weeks, starting on January 6th and ending with graduation on June 10th 2011.

Fees for the 12-week lecture phase of the school are $4,210 (room, board and tuition). There are significant fee discounts for students from developing nations. The cost is $3,210 for B category and $2,210 for C category nation students. Click here for Category ABC nations list

Fees for the 10-week field assignment will vary depending on location. Airfares & insurance will be approx $1500-$3000, plus ground fees (incl housing & food) estimated to be $1,500-$3,000.
